DBTech Wokha training centre, one amongst the 5 training centres operating in Nagaland under the project of MoRD Govt. of India held its 6th batch inauguration cum 1st parents meet on April 30 at Don Bosco Youth centre. Libemo Jami (YRO Wokha) was the chief guest.
Wokha training centre provides three-months free job oriented training course in hospitality management.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Libemo Jami encouraged the students to change their mindset and start working for a livelihood.
“Private sectors nowadays have huge employment opportunities”, he said and urged the trainees to move out of their towns to gain more experience.
He urged the young trainees present in the program to take up challenges and to take pride in their decisions and to excel in their career. He also mentioned that parents should give liberty to their children to choose their own career based on his/her interest.
Sister superior, Rosily, pronounced the invocation, Fr. Linus (centre in-charge) gave the welcome address, Fr. Jacob (Administrator DBS Wokha) spoke about Don Bosco, Z Nzanmongi Ngullie (hospitality trainer) gave a brief introduction on the project of DBTech Skilling India, Puisaube Hekwet proposed the vote of thanks.
The trainees performed songs, skit, cultural dance and the program concluded with a special number from ‘Exorcise’ band.
