Dimapur police informs on sale of defence personnel items

Dimapur police has informed all authorized dealers / vendors/ shops dealing with police and defence personnel items and clothing to report to the police station “having jurisdiction” and submit their authorization letter/permits and other related documents.
According to a release by additional deputy commissioner of Police/PRO Dimapur, such items should not be sold to private or unauthorized persons and that identification of buyers of such items must be made through identity cards issued by competent authorities.
Dimapur police has warned that failure to comply the directions or selling such items without authorized permit would be liable to be prosecution under the law.
