Power department has informed that there would a total black-out in Phek town and nearby villages including Pfutsero and Meluri towns and surrounding villages due to break-down of a circuit breaker at Meluri sub-station which supplies power to the mentioned areas.
Informing this in a press release, SDO(E) Phek, Er. Albert Ovung said technicians are in place to replace the defective circuit breaker to restore electricity at the earliest. The department has requested the public cooperate and to bear with the inconveniences.
