MGM Higher Secondary School (MGMHSS) Dimapur held its 2nd peace club seminar on May 23 at the school with members of Peace Channel Dimapur as the resource persons.
In his welcome speech, principal of the school Reverend Fr. PS Varghese emphasized on the importance of “Peace” in the present world.
During the seminar, resource person Judith spoke on the topic “transformation of cultural violence in to peace” and emphasized on the importance of valuing diversity, accepting and respecting each other without discrimination on the basis of religion or ethnicity.
She encouraged the children to make diversity as an asset and build strong to change the society for the betterment and good of humanity. Judith also mentioned that “peace” plays a crucial role in maintaining and bringing peace and understanding among all the people.
