Shamator Town Students Union asserted that as per the guidelines and in strict adherence to the department of school education vide Ref No.ED/SCH/PMS-3/2015-16, the responsible department should have tied up with the vendor well ahead of time to ensure that such shortages did not occur.
Also, questioning the responsible authority for failure to disseminate information for wide publicity regarding the scheme, STSU stated that countless improper and illegal professional conduct has been observed and shall not be tolerated at any cost.
The union has directed the “erring authority” to respond within a week from the date of publication, failing which it would initiate appropriate and necessary action without any hesitation.
