Tsiepfu Tsiepfhe Women Organization, EYSU condemn rape

Tsiepfu Tsiepfhe Women Organization (TTWO) has condemned the rape committed on a minor girl by Tinulepden Amer, a resident of Tsiepfu” Tsiepfhe A.G colony, Kohima.

In a release, Tsiepfu Tsiepfhe Women Organization  said “crime against children and women have been increasing in the society and the most shameful act of a man was committing rape on minors whose nature was not at all proactive”.

“Unlike olden days, men folk instead of being the guardian and protector have become beastly and inhuman towards own daughters/sisters/mothers and we mothers are losing trust upon men folk because our Naga society is becoming most despicable society” Tsiepfu Tsiepfhe Women Organization  added.

The organization further appealed to the authority in-charge to award befitting punishment to the accused according to the law of land and deliver justice to the victim at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Eastern Yingnyu Students’ Union (EYSU) (Sakshi) also condemned the rape of 11 year girl by Tinulepden Ao at Duncan Bosti Dimapur on September 14.

Eastern Yingnyu Students’ Union  Sakshi termed the act as “savage and barbaric” that “cannot be tolerated by anyone to forgive and has no edge in the society to live”.

Further student body demanded the Eastern Naga peoples’ union for the termination Tinulepden’s service and take befitting action against him and not to grant him bail at any cost.
