National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) Dimapur conducted free medical camps at Veterinary colony ward 22 and Burma camp market area on May 26 and May 28 respectively.
A total of 227 patients availed free health service. Counselling on health information, proper nutrition, timely ANC check-up etc. were also imparted to pregnant women.
The team was led by medical officer in-charge of Urban Primary Health Centres (UPHC), Burma camp, Dimapur, urban consultant, GNMs and ANMs supported by the urban Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA). NUHM team has expressed gratitude to veterinary colony chairman and secretary of Burma camp market committee for their support and cooperation.
