The proposed public meeting of United Naga Tribes Association on Border Areas (UNTABA) at Jalukie and Athibung Town at 10 am and 1 pm respectively on June 5 as scheduled.
In a press release, UNTABA Chairman,Hukavi.T. Yeputhomi and Member,Executive Committee, Raitu Elu stated that it was very unfortunate that the information served for the programme had unnecessarily drawn some confusions amongst various mass based organizations particularly from Peren District owing to notices being served inappropriately by concerned members in the name of an organisation.
The association also stated that the scheduled programme was purely formulated and planned by UNTABA in consultation with the people of the areas concerned by the Executive Committee of UNTABA as part of its touring programme in all the border areas. The undersigned also requested all the conscientious people to nullify the notice and information served by the ZPO (N) and attend the scheduled meeting positively in the larger interest of all the concerned.
