Keeping in view with its mandate for financial inclusion, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Regional Office, Dimapur conducted a Financial Literacy Awareness programme (FLAP) at Leshemi village, under Pfutsero block, Phek district on July 11.
FLAP was conducted in collaboration with Chakhesang women’s welfare society (CWWS), Pfutsero.
The aim of the programme was to create awareness among the masses regarding the various financial products and services offered by banks to general public.
The programme was attended by S. Amarjit Mangang, NABARD, Phek, Rokho Angami, NSCB, Pfutsero branch, Lily Medo, CSP, SBI, Pfutsero and Zechete-u Nusory, programme co-ordinator, CWWS, Pfutsero.
During the programme, the bankers shared the importance of banking, savings, financial planning, various benefits under PMJDY and various GOI pension/insurance schemes.
