NSMA to organize workshop on earthquake hazards

Nagaland state Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) home department along with North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST) Jorhat would be organizing one day school children sensitization workshop on earthquake hazards on July 17, 9 a.m. at state academy hall, Kohima. The sensitization workshop would be part of the NDMA sponsored awareness campaign to educate the school children about earthquake hazards, provide basic knowledge on mitigation and preparedness measures to inculcate the habit of earthquake safety in young minds.
