DBA celebrates 18th foundation day

In a short highlight on the history of DBA, founding member and first president of the association, Dovikho Nagi said the association was formed when there were only a handful of Naga advocates.

But even in its short time of existence, DBA had represented itself in some national and international events and has grown to be biggest bar associations in the state, Dovikho said.

The foundation day celebration was well attended by the members including some senior former members.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Wangshikokla while welcome address was delivered by DBA president Imti Imsong.

Other highlights of the programme were obeisance to deceased members, felicitation of the first office bearers by District and Sessions Judge, song by Moatila Ao and a short speech by one founding member. Vote of thanks was proposed by the vice-president of DBA.
