Youth Development Centre (YDC), Jalukie was inaugurated by Commandant, 32 Assam Rifles of 5 Sector at Jalukie Town, Peren on March 25, under aegis of IGAR (N).
YDC was provided with a fully functional library comprising of hundreds of latest books and magazines on varied subjects.
Five computers with printers and UPS, furniture for computers, furniture for library, book shelves and a newspaper stand were also provided under this programme.
Jalukie youth council, Jalukie women welfare organization and people of Jalukie town has conveyed its gratitude to Assam Rifles for its kind gesture.
