Dimapur government college (DGC) career guidance cell organized a day-long seminar on career guidance on Friday at the college auditorium.
Resource person for the seminar was Rozelle Mero from The People Channel, Dimapur.
While welcoming the resource person and her team, the Convener of the Career Guidance Cell, Dr.Benjongkumba expressed gratitude for sparing their valuable time for the benefit of the students.
He said the aims and objectives of the seminar was to provide guidance services to the students on various career prospects and opportunities in varied fields.
Resource person spoke on various career opportunities in length including hotel industries, civil aviation, navy and military services and many other fields of entrepreneurships. She also emphasized on the prospects and opportunities for trainings and grooming for interviews and placements in various fields.
The resource person further expressed her desire to help the students and organize placement programmes in the near future.
