Nagamese digital film “Morom Laga Chehira”, directed and produced by Akash Atae Konyak of Shiyeli Richard production was released on Saturday at Bookmarc conference hall, Dimapur by Assistant Commissioner Ashis Modi IAS.
Modi said film was not only a source of economy but mode of expression and talent. While congratulating the film director, he said it was not quality but the effort which had been put in during the initial career which mattered.
Film director Akash Atae Konyak expressed that through film Naga talent, art and culture could be promoted and recognized worldwide. He said film industry was a platform which provides employment for both educated and uneducated people and urged the people to support Nagamese film to solve unemployment problem in the state.
The programme was chaired by Alang Pongen while invocation prayer was pronounced by associate women leader LBC Libeni Hami. Short speeches were also delivered by S.Neangbah Konyak, Zan Lotha and Libeni Jami.
