Tangha Village Council (TVC) has vehemently condemned the September 12 incident at Phuktong, NSCN (R) designated camp, Mon, where ‘leut. Col. Lemshong of Tangha village was fired upon by Langman Phom. Following the incident, TVC chairman, C. Hendok Phom and secretary P. Longjah Phom said the council held an emergency meeting on September 18 and has appealed to the NSCN (R) leadership to seriously enquire the matter and punish the culprit as per the government’s law and deliver justice at the earliest.
