Children with special needs of Kiphire were handed over aid and appliance on September 28 at EBRC Hall Kiphire by SDO (C), T.Lankonsen Tsanglao.
Programme was organized by District Mission Authority, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Kiphire.
According to SDO (C), aim of the government would only be achieved when beneficiaries come forward and make use of the things provided to them. He thanked the government especially the SSA for giving special attention to children with special needs.
ADC, DMA SSA Sethricho L Sangtam highlighted on the IED mission and said that this programme was to reach out to the needy children. Sethricho appealed to the beneficiaries to make use of the facilities provided by the government not as free gift but as special privilege.
IED coordinator, Caroline Sangtam also spoke on the occasion. The programme was chaired by Project Assistant DMA Kiphire, Tsalimew Jonny while resource person IED, Throngso delivered vote of thanks.
