Prachi Desai played the lonely and neglected wife Sakshi in ‘Rock On’. Buzz is that in its sequel her character will be revamped.
She will now essay a strong pragmatic woman in ‘Rock On 2’. A Mumbai Mirror report quoted the actress as saying, “Shujaat, my stylist Shefali Shetty and I decided to chop off Sakshi’s (her character’s name) long tresses and give her a shorter hair cut in the hope that it would portray her strength on screen. It’s an important role I’m there from start to finish. It’s a much better role than the previous one. I’m not associated with the band but I’m vital for the members.”
Prachi refuted rumours suggesting that she has a cameo role. Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, ‘Rock On 2’ has an ensemble cast of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Shraddha Kapoor. The film has already hit the shooting floors in Shillong and is slated to release next year.
