Drawing attention to news report that ACC 3 Dimapur III dissolved and merged with NPF, the 3 Dimapur III A/C president, V. Shekishe Achumi clarified that those party workers, who resigned from the party were not “genuine” but joined Congress during the last general election.
To this, Shekishe said dissolving of the party did not arise and only few supporters “may have resigned” to support PHED minister.
He reminded the party workers that DCC Dimapur constituted ACC 3 Dimapur III A/C in September 2015 and new team was set up as per the directive of NPCC during revamping period as per the executive decision of NPCC on June 26, 2015.
On the allegation that DCC president being self style and autocratic, Shekishe said the present DCC president was duly elected in presence of AICC returning officer during the last organizational election. He said in every party set up there is a constitution and which everybody have to follow, and those who do not understand and follow the constitution always alleged to be autocratic.
It therefore, informed the party workers that DCC president has been functioning, the party with full consultation of the party rank and file. Shekishe also clarified that former president, P. Wati Walling was expelled from the party on October 31, 2015 by DCC Dimapur for six years for his “anti-party activities” and his claimed to be Congress member was “fallacious”.
