DCCI asks shops in Dimapur to light-up, decorate

Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has informed all the business establishments in Dimapur town to decorate their business premises and to “compulsorily” put up stars preferably with CFL bulbs outside their shops.
In a press release, DCCI president Hokivi Chishi appealed to owners of buildings facing the main roads in Dimapur to urge their tenants to set up decorative pieces to compliment the festive season and add beauty to the town.
Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry also urged all citizens and shoppers to be aware of pickpockets and other anti-social elements.
Maintaining that gambling was likely to galore in many places, DCCI appealed to the police to take preventive measures and stop such illegal activities. Further, DCCI urged police to be more proactive in maintaining peaceful law and order during the festive season.
Meanwhile, DCCI has wished all citizens a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
