The first state BJP office bearers meeting of the new term was held on March 17 at the state party office, Dimapur.
Addressing the state office bearers and senior leaders, state president Visasolie Lhoungu urged the party members to overcome obstacles and lead the party to even greater heights.
Explaining the reasons behind the slow pace of setting up party office bearers on different fronts, the president said, competent persons are being appointed in different capacities representing various sections of the society and therefore the gradual pace of setting up the party’s organizational structure.
The meeting deliberated on the organizational set up and party programmes, informed a press release received from Jaangsillung Gonmei, general secretary, BJP Nagaland media.
The meeting also discussed several areas of the party functioning, the hurdles and challenges ahead which would also be addressed to the central leaders as required, it stated.
Tour programmes to every district would be undertaken in a short while and review the existing situation in every district, the release added.
