Free medical check-up, medicine & disability certification camp for mental illness & mental retardation was held on March 19 at Grace Society, Changtongya Town Office complex.
The programme was organized by Grace Society CBRF (community based rehabilitation forum), Changtongya in collaboration with District Mental Health Programme.
DPO (UIP/RCH/RBSK) nodal officer, Mental Health Programme, Dr. Yanger and his 5 member staff conducted the health camp and distributed free medicine and certificate to the patients.
Altogether, 17 patients with M.I & M.R disability were facilitated with free medical chek-up, medicine and disability certificate.
The program was organized by Grace Society CBRF as a part of their project to facilitate PwD’s (People with Disabilities) in Langpangkong area so that they could avail their various entitlements available to them from the central & state govt.
