The Seyochung Village Council (SVC) would be holding a silent protest on April 6 at Kiphire hq. for failure of response in regard to their ultimatum submitted to deputy commissioner Kiphire.
In a letter addressed to the DC Kiphire, the Seyochung Village Council stated, “We had submitted an ultimatum demanding revocation of your order dated 1st April 2016, however no positive response has been communicated to us by the district administration. Having been deprived justice, we have now resolved to display our resentment through democratic means by way of holding silent protest.”
The letter was signed by head GB Seyochung village, Chothrise Sangtam and chairman Seyochung Village Council, Chokhaba Sangtam.
