Dimapur Police has informed that in the last two weeks eight cases has been registered and ten persons arrested under the NLTP Act.
In a press release, PRO Dimapur Police said the persons identified as, Toli Yepthomi daughter of Kahoto, Nikuto Swu son of Sukhalo and, Kughavi Yepthomi son of Toshevi were arrested from Unity Colony, 5th Mile on April 1 with 133 bottles/ cans of assorted IMFL.
On April 2, one Gudu Anasari was arrested while transporting 39 cases of assorted IMFL concealed in a vehicle while one Surjit Das son of Dinanath Das was arrested from a shop near City Tower with 85 bottles/cans of assorted IMFL.
One IsatoYepthomi son of Lt. Kivikhu was arrested from Model Village, 7th Mile on April 3 and 145 bottles/cans of assorted IMFL seized from his possession.
On April 10, one Vikram Ronpi son of Longki Rongpi was arrested from Apoon Bill Restaurant and 40 bottles/cans of assorted IMFL were seized. The same day, one Anil Sohoria son of DilipSohoria was arrested from 4th Mile area and 114 bottles/ cans of assorted IMFL were seized.
On April 1, one Vijay Sharma son of Movin Sharma was arrested from Kalibari Road and 125 bottles/ cans of assorted IMFL was seized while one Yetoi Sumi son of Khetovi Sumi was arrested on April 12 and 17 cases of IMFL seized from his possession.
