Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has said that the economic and development activities have come to a grinding halt in the state, leaving no future prospects for the youth of the state. For this, NPCC president, K. Therie in a press note said that the only hope was to bring in a “change”. During the PAC meeting on May 28, Therie said that the party decided to open the doors to likeminded people, “who subscribe to the ideologies, principles and objectives of the Congress” that has been made clear in the NPCC Roadmap. He said the PAC had also observed that the NPF-led BJP DAN government and the government of India GoI have “willfully ignored the suffering of the people of Nagaland”. “They have no intention to protect the lives and properties of the people nor is there any more hope for the present government to improve,” he said.
