District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Tuensang organized awareness and sensitization programme on child right on various occasions at Kuthur, Holongba, Tuensang and Panso villages respectively. The programme was based on responsibilities of adults and caring and protection of child. Resource person of the programme, district child protection officer, NS Khaikho, legal-cum-probation officer, Thekrusolie Vakha, protection officer (IC) Keviyiechünuo and child welfare committee, Tuensang advocate and secretary Pakhiu Khaimniungan highlighted on child rights and protection, integrated child protection scheme and its component, role of village level child protection committee, juvenile justice act, protection of child from sexual offence and prohibition of child labor which exclusively dealt with child right to survival, right to physical, etc.
