ENPUD appeals orphanage homes

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Union Dimapur (ENPUD) has appealed to all the orphanage/destitute homes in Dimapur to intimate to the union regarding the details of the eastern children kept at their institution. 
A joint press statement, issued by Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Union Dimapur president M.C Ongbou Chang and general secretary M. JeangeYanlem said the appeal was being made with the view of keeping proper co-ordination between the institutions and the union for general interest and the welfare of the children.
The union stated that for any correspondence with the union, one could contact ENPUD president (9612166328), general secretary (8974849080) and information secretary (8119953111).
Meanwhile, the union expressed gratitude to Child Welfare Committee, Childline and DCPU of Dimapur for settling the case pertaining to Rson Star Children Home of Grace colony Lingrijan, Dimapur on August 25 and September 1, 2016 respectively.
The union also appreciated ENWOD, ENSUD, all Dimapur Tribal Units and other well-wishers for their initiative and support in rescuing/restoring 16 Eastern Naga children from the said home to their parents/legal guardian through the respective tribal units of ENPUD.
