General meeting of postal GDS staffs under Dimapur division was held on October 2, wherein it decided to form a union for greater unity among the staff. Dimapur division consist of ARTC, SO, Champang SO, Chumukedima SO, Circular Road SO, Dimapur Bazar SO, Medziphema SO, Naginimora SO, New Nepaligaon SO, Peren SO, Signal Village SO, Tizit SO and Zalukie SO.
The new team of office bearers for the tenure 2016-18 is led by president Sentimeren Pongen, general secretary Kangzangpeule and others. Altogether 85 GDS staffs from different offices attended the meeting.
