MUD condemns Mukhami incident

Mukhami Union Dimapur (MUD) has strongly condemned the Mukhami incident wherein Zhikhashe Assumi son of late Kupushe Assumi chopped off the right hand of S Vitokhu Awomi. 

MUD in a condemnation note by president, Khetovi Wotsa and general secretary, Ghotovi Shohe stated that this dastardly act was inhuman and deserved the highest form of condemnation from all. 

While appreciating the district administration for timely intervention and arresting the culprit, MUD appealed the two parties to amicably solve the dispute at the earliest as per the Sumi customary law.
