St. Paul Church, Noklak inaugurated

The newly built St. Paul Church, Noklak was blessed by the Bishop of Kohima, Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil and inaugurated by the parish priest and principal at Christ King Church, Anganba, Rev. Fr. Joseph Ottukalathil on Sunday, 2016. Church leaders, from Shamator, Tuensang, Mokokchung, Chessore, Aghunato, Kohima and Dimapur were present for the auspicious occasion.
Bishop, in his introduction congratulated Rev. Fr. Joseph Lukka, the centre in charge and the small community for the tremendous work done to complete the beautiful new Church. 
He urged them to be exemplary in their faith and life. He said that physical church was only the manifestation of the real and true Church, i.e. every Christian, thereby he urged Christians to manifest Christ to others.  . 
Director, Pastoral Centre, Dimapur, Rev. Fr. Jaison Thomas reflected on the story of Zacchaus, and said that  with the presence of Jesus in his life, Zacchaus became a new creation. He said when Jesus entered into one’s life, then one would see life differently and it would bring about transformation and change and thus one becomes the temple of God.
Priest in charge, Rev. Fr. Josep Lukka expressed his sincere gratitude to Most Rev. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, priests, nuns, special guests from far and near for gracing the occasion with their presence and prayers. Particularly he thanked Shanil, a staff of St. Paul, Noklak for designing the church. Songs, trio, choreography were the special item presented during the felicitation.
