District Planning & Development Board meetings

District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Dimapur meeting for the month of November was held at the Training Hall of Taxes Department on November 5.
According to DIPR, Road reservation on National Highway Stretch and bottling of mineral water submitted by Minister for PHE were the main agendas during the meeting.
The board approved the registration of The Acts Institute, Lutshumi Union, Dimapur, Barefoot Welfare Society, Diphupar Village, Charis Society, Padumphukuri, Wosenro Self Help Group, Diphupar, Bethlehem Welfare Society, Aoyimti Village, Kuki Pensioners’ Society Chumukedima, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Nagaland State Branch and Octet School of Music, Power Point, Thahekhu village. 
During the meeting, permission to open St. Joseph’s Global School having CBSC syllabus and issuance of NOC to CBSC board at virgin Town, Khekiho Zhimomi Road, Ikishe Model Village, Dimapur and Up-gradation of Montessory Nursery School, Zeliangrong Village, Dimapur were also recommended. 
Departmental activities of Agriculture and Horticulture under Dimapur District were also presented during the meeting.
Earlier the meeting was chaired by ADC, Dimapur, Elizabeth Ngully. 
TUENSANG: District Planning and Development Board, Tuensang meeting held was on November 5 at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang.
According to DIPR the meeting was attended by the district administrative officers, police services, other district officers, NGOs and security services.
Previous meeting minutes were reviewed, where the report of the concern officer on public grievances on the new Billing system of the District was discussed and summarized with the implementation of the new tariff system of the electrical billing in the district.
Proposal on the registration and the renewal of the societies were discussed basing on the documents submitted and decided to forward to Tuensang District Local Taxi Drivers Union for registration and Ebenezer Mission Society, Chare Town for the renewal.
Governor’s visit on November 15 to Tuensang was also discussed. The forum discussed on the work distribution on the department lines. 
DC, Tuensang also notified the section of the citizens who were allotted to meet the Governor on his visit as per the time allotment given in the directives.
The house also decided to conduct a mass cleanliness drive within the town for which the incharge has been given to president All Ward Union Tuensang.
Earlier deputy commissioner and vice chairman of DP&DB conducted the meeting.
