The Public Forum Pungro Sub- Division (PFPSD) has initiated and carried out a major repairing of roads between Pungro to Salomi village and Moya to Lower Tizu ( 36 MW), where the roads had been left unattended in deplorable condition for long time, thus causing hardship and untold suffering to the people of rural areas.
President PFPSD, S. Kiusumew Yimchungru, said that, during the work, the executive engineer civil (LHEP) donated fuel while former vice president YTC, Shellumthong, also provided JCB for 3 days. These measures helped in the successful completion of road repair for plying of vehicles. The forum further said that, it also repaired and cleared the road between Moya to Lower Tizu (36 MW), where executive engineer civil (LHEP) donated fuel for the work while Surveyor Company donated JCB. PFPSD and general public of Pungro sub-division has expressed sincere gratitude to Shellumthong and Surveyor Company for their immense and generous contribution towards the road repair. It also hoped that such kind humanitarian service towards the people would continue in the near future.
