Bible Society of India (BSI), Dimapur Auxiliary has released Nyishi Bible on November 27 at Nyishi Baptist Church Council Headquarter, Model Village, Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh by senior auxiliary secretary Dimapur Auxiliary, Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill. In his message he said, Israelites read the Word of God for three hours, so Nyishi people should also read three hours of Nyishi Bible, so that God would give inspiration to the Nyishi community. Special song was presented by Balijan Baptist Church, Yezali Baptist Church, Sagalee Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. W. Along Jamir ATD Shillong brought greetings on behalf of the translations department. Nyishi people gave one lakh contribution by cheque and offering collection was Rs.72,904/-, adding to a total Rs.172,904/- contribution to Dimapur Auxiliary which is the highest and record breaker. Altogether 3000 copies of Nyishi Bible were sold on the day of release. General secretary of NBCC, Rev.Tar Choya and president of the Dimapur Auxiliary Rev.Halli Likha Ama, both expressed deep appreciation to BSI ministry for providing the Word of God to the Nyishi community.
