Kohima police has reminded all hotels, guesthouses, institutions etc. under Kohima district having foreigners as guests to mandatorily furnish information by filing the online C-Form.
In a communiqué, Sr. SP Kohima, Joseph Hesso further said it was a statutory obligation to intimate the office of the FRO (SP Office) regarding the arrival and stay of every foreigners within 24 hours. With the implementation of IVRT module, Hesso said C-forms are to be submitted online while hoteliers can obtain the user ID by registering with FRO, Kohima at http://indianfrro.gov.in/frro/FormC. Defaulters would invite imprisonment for a term of upto five years and fine under revelant section of the Foreigners Act.
