Against the backdrop of three senior party leaders being sacked from the State BJP Unit Nagaland, various district BJP leaders have sought clarification on the reason behind the unceremonious sacking of the leaders.
Presidents of BJP Dimapur 1, 4 Ghaspani 1 Mandal, 3 Dimapur 3 Mandal, and 5 Ghaspani Mandal and BJP Wokha on behalf of four Mandals namely 37 A/C, 38 A/C, 39 A/C, and 40 A/C have through separate press notes made an appeal to the president BJP Nagaland State Unit to revoke the order served to K. James Vizo, Mughato Achumi, and Yangose Sangtam.
Similarly, six Mandals of Tuensang namely 51 A/C Noksen, 52 A/C Longkhim-Chare, 53 A/C Tuensang Sadar-1, 54 A/C Tuensang Sadar-II, 57 A/C Thononyu and 58 A/C Shamator-Chessore has questioned the “undemocratic action of the party where senior party leaders were dropped without any specific reason by stating that it was central directive.” In a press note, presidents of the six A/Cs requested state BJP president to clarify on what ground the three senior party leaders were dropped.
“It is felt that it is not a healthy sign for party growth and if immediate remedy measure is not taken then it will immensely damage the party,” they added.
