
Government High School (GHS) Kiruphema was inaugurated on April 12 by chief guest, Director of School of Education, Nagaland, Wothungo Tsopoe.
A press release by GHS Kiruphema, said that in his speech, Tsopoe appealed to the teachers to be sincere and re-dedicate themselves to the school and produce better results.
He also challenged the parents to take equal responsibilities in bringing up the children.
Tsopoe also appreciated the villagers for having deep concern for the school and for desire to upgrade the school which could be achieved mainly due to these qualities of the village leaders.
The programme was chaired by Vizolie Chücha, the headmaster of the school, invocation was said by Pastor Pecüvilie Kruneilie, a welcome address was delivered by teacher, D. Ponnachan, short speech delivered by SMC chairman Kedovitha Hesielie and vote of thanks by teacher, Rokovizo.
The programme was attended by a host of officers from the school education department, officers of other departments in the area, village leaders and elders and parents of the students.
