GPRN/NSCN (I-M) deputy kilonser, ministry of kilo affairs ‘capt’ (rtd) Newto Chishi has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of late ‘gen’ (rtd) Hokiye Yesca of N/A NNC/FGN, GB of Naghutome old village on December 16. In a condolence message, Newto described late Hokiye as a tall and visionary leader and the pride of Naghutomi village in particular and the Sumi Naga in general. He said that late Hokiye was the participant and signatory from the military wing during the 1st Indo-Naga ceasefire agreement. His dedicated and patriotic service to the Naga nation as brave general, the vision and the discipline life he lived would always be cherished and fondly remembered in the golden book of Naga history, stated the condolence message. Newto also conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and peace to the departed soul.
