Vibrant culture of the Dimasa Kachari community came to live as young boys and girls in traditional attires danced in unison to celebrate the post harvest festival “Bishu” on January 27 at Bamunpukhuri village. The programme included traditional blessings for the youth by village chiefs and invoking “Bishu” blessings, Bikho khruba by Khramya, Muuriya and Dimasa students, Reemin Nelaiba and dining Siklaiba and a mass Dimasa Traditional dance by the villagers.
