State govt. to hold Naga summit on boundary issue

Nagaland chief minister, T.R. Zeliang on Sunday informed that the state government would be holding the ‘Naga Summit’ in the month of February to deliberate on the ongoing International border fencing work at Pangsha village, carried out  jointly by India and Myanmar government.
The summit is expected to have Naga representatives from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Myanmar. He said the issue concerns not only the ENPO but the entire Naga community alone but for the entire Naga community. Zeliang pointed out that border fencing would only divide the community. After the summit, Zeliang said that a joint memorandum may be submitted to the Central government. Zeliang also disclosed that he had written to Prime Minister and Home minister on the issue and had received an invitation from the PMO to meet the Prime Minister.
KTC: Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) has welcomed the State cabinet decision to take up border fencing issue with all the Naga tribal hohos at the Naga summit in February next. 
KTC president P. Mongshua also acknowledged Lok Sabha MP Neiphiu Rio , chief minister TR Zeliang, National Political groups (NNPGs), NSF, ACAUT, ENSA, Eastern Naga Public Organization (ENPO) and several other civil societies/organization for voicing out against the construction of boder fencing. 
Further, KTC vowed that it cannot allow the traditional land and social integration be divided by construction of border fencing, rather it has committed to stop the construction at all cost.
