Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has decided to continue total bandh under its jurisdiction starting Monday (Jan. 30) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The bandh would be effective on National Highways from Piphema till Assam-Nagaland border and adjoining areas, stated CPO president Vichütuolie Mere and general secretary Zakievisie Kruse in a press note.
CPO said this was in view of the situation and as a partner in Joint Coordination Committee (JCC), to fight against ULB elections in Nagaland. In this regard, CPO has requested the public and travellers to bear with the bandh and to understand the stand of the people in its fight against “alien laws in our land”.
Further, CPO has requested all its members to once again render their invaluable time and energy for the betterment of the future generations.
