Socialist Party (India) national vice president, Akhei Achunii has said that the present NPF-led DAN government should dissolved and that President’s Rule be invoked in Nagaland.
In a press note, Akhei Achunii while expressing pain and condemning the recent events leading to the death of two youths and loss of properties, suggested governor of Nagaland to ask chief minister of Nagaland T.R. Zeliang to step down on “moral ground as he has no moral right to occupy chief minister’s chair”.
While stating that people elected members must listen to the voice of the people, the Socialist Party (India) said NPF-led DAN government has “turned deaf ear to the voice of people”.
It also alleged that NPF leaders who had been in power for last 14 years were responsible for “misrule in Nagaland” and accused chief minister of Nagaland T.R. Zeliang for lacking “wisdom” as he “could ask his home minister to step down from his chair on moral ground”.
