A two-day capacity building program on urban disaster risk management conducted by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) home department in collaboration with 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency, concluded on March 8 at Conference Hall of Cathedral, Kohima.
A press release by NSDMA informed that the objective of the training was to enable the representatives of the ward members under Kohima Municipal to develop an urban disaster risk management plan/ ward disaster management plan.
The inaugural programme was graced by Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, MLA, as the special guest, wherein a brief introduction on disaster management was given by joint CEO, NSDMA, Johnny Ruangmei.
