NPF 37 A/C rejects LH demand

NPF 37 A/C has rejected Lotha Hoho’s demand that all four Lotha MLAs should resign or withdraw support to T.R. Zeliang, especially home minister Y. Patton, who was elected by the electorates of 37 A/C.
The party asserted that they did not see any valid reason to corroborate on the demand of LH.
Rather, stated that Y. Patton was legally elected by the electorates of 37 A/C after thorough assessment and examination of his activities and therefore, there was no question of him stepping down or withdrawing support to T.R. Zeliang.
In a press statement, NPF 37 A/C party president Npio Kikon, also termed the demand of Lotha Hoho as unjustified and asked Y. Patton not to step down or withdraw support to T.R. Zelaing without consulting the electorates.
Meanwhile, at the emergency meeting on Friday at Wokha town comprising of 37 A/C NPF parent body, twenty village Units, Youth Wing and women wing including advisors, the party unit condemned the explosion that took place at the ongoing construction of building of Y. Patton at Meriema village on February 9.
According to Kikon, trying to vandalise private properties “without any rhyme or reason” was a dangerous trend and an alien to Naga culture. He further appealed to all to desist from such kind of diabolical activities and urged the law enforcing agencies to booked the culprits and penalise as per the law.
