On March 1, the 7th death anniversary of late Khodao Yanthan, the Kyong Region Authority of the NSCN/GPRN held a function in the office of the Central Administrative Officer in remembrance of the former vice-president NSCN/GPRN.
During the function, caretaker/CAO Chonbenthung Lotha highlighted the life history of late Khodao Yanthan.
He also urged upon all the members to emulate and preserve the legacy left behind by the visionary leader.
Earlier, invocation prayer was said by the region Chaplain Merio Kikon. The assemblage also observed a minute silence in respect of the departed leader. Thereafter, a special prayer was also offered for the collective leadership and all the members of the NSCN/GPRN and the Naga Peace accord. The function concluded with benediction offered by tatar Simon Yanthan. The function was chaired by Chonbenthung Lotha.
