Lords of Rock to perform live on March 17

Lords of Rock (LOR), a collaborative band with Clement Imsong as the frontman, Imkumer Jamir and Toshimoa Jamir on the guitars, Akihito Zhimomi as the bassist and Alemtemsu Ozukum as the drummer will be giving a treat to the classic rock fans very soon.

The band will be performing live on March 17 at Supermarket Area, Dimapur which will be their debut performance as a band.

The band described that the sole reason behind the formation was to revive Classic Rock and dedicate itself at delivering the sound and feel of the 80’s Rock n’ Roll scene.

Although the bigger picture of the band is yet to be revealed, it is safe to say that they will surely deliver given the history of the members in their previous journeys either as solo performers or with their respective groups.

They all have been keeping themselves busy till they came together as a band and with nothing but pure love for the timeless classic rock music; LOR is set to reignite the dying passion for a genre which comparatively has taken a backseat worldwide.

The list of their influences includes Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Mr. Big, Metallica, Skid Row, Extreme etc. and all these bands have been instrumental in producing a generation of rock fans all over the world.

Their first show will be an open air free concert which all the more gives a different picture behind the motive of the band as free concerts are rare not to mention a free rock concert.

The band seems to be taking the job seriously as they have even tied up with Rockstar EI Pvt. Ltd. as their management.

Their debut performance might set into motion a whole resurgence of classic rock concerts which a decade back was quite a common event all over the state but lately has taken a diminishing turn.

Hoping that their efforts will be well rewarded by a huge attendance, taking into consideration the fact that Nagaland is short in everything else but music lovers, especially classic rock fans.
