Thousands of people mostly youths attended the third day of the ongoing 12-day “Transformation Crusade” on the theme, “Arise and Shine” at local ground Kohima, Friday.
Delivering message, pastor Phezoucha Nagamese Baptist Church Kohima Velavoyi Keyho said it was time for the Nagas to become a new creation in the society by encountering “His grace and love”. Quoting from the Bible 11 Corinthians 5:17, he said, “a human cannot turn into a new creation with his/her own effort but through Jesus Christ who will transform us with His power and strength”.
Keyho also encouraged the congregation that time has come to reconcile with the Lord through this crusade and to receive His blessings. He appealed the worshippers to come out of the comfort zone and work for His kingdom as Christ has suffered, humiliated and died for the sins of mankind. He further reminded the congregation that richness in wealth and experiences would not make our life better, but to attain true happiness one must accept the Lord through our hearts and soul and share His love to others.
Praise and worship team was led James Basnet, Lozino Noswe was the pianist and the service was led associate pastor CBCK Vezopa Rhakho. The service began with an invocation by principal CHSS Asenla Temsu.
On Saturday, the service would begin at 4:30 pm with associate pastor Koinonia prayer centre Rokopra Mekro as the speaker.
