Based on specific input, 32 Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarters IGAR (North) launched an operation along with police representative in general area Purana Bazar, Dimapur on April 25 and apprehended two individuals identified as Marvin Neibu Shuya (32) ‘leacy’ NSCN (R) and Inaka Kiba (24) ‘rezapuyu’ NSCN (R) both residents of Chumukedima.
PRO HQ IGAR (N) lt. Col. Amitabh Sharma informed that several incriminating documents related to NSCN (R) were also recovered from their possession.
The individuals along with the recovered items were handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, PRO added.
