Nagaland governor, P.B. Acharya, in his message, on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day has called upon the citizens to come forward to voluntarily donate blood as by donating blood they made significant contributions in the society.
In a statement, PRO quoting Acharya said, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated worldwide on June 14 every year for raising public awareness about the need for voluntarily making safe blood donations. “Let’s take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every blood donor. It is because of these heroes, that we believe life will be given a better chance. Thank You Dear Blood Donors” he said.
