ACAUT says allegation against NSCN (I-M) true
ACAUT Nagaland has come out with the conclusion that the allegation against NSCN (I-M) members involved in halting the four-lane road work was true, as NSCN (I-M) failed to clarify on its position on the matter within the stipulated time.
In the light of the above, ACAUT media cell said that it was left with no option but to reiterate that “the NSCN-IM does not want Nagaland people to enjoy fruits of development”. Further, ACAUT affirmed that any disturbances upon the firms/contractors working on the four-lane construction for Asian Highway-1 by any entity would be considered as a direct challenge to all Nagas.
It also cautioned the contractors/firms to understand that the Naga people are watching the ongoing works with “great trepidation”- that quality should not be compromised under any circumstances. It therefore, asked the contractors/firms to take great care in order to avoid misunderstandings.
