NPYC holds wheel tour on ‘youth for change’

July 23, 2017 | by admin

Under the flagship of Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) a wheel tour at Mon was organised on July 20 at Congress Bhavan Mon, under the theme, “youth for change”.
A press note by NPYC press and media secretary, Moba Konyak stated that NPYC president, Vilhousielie Kenguruse in his address pointed at the shortcomings of the opposition NPF led DAN government. He said that the present government has misguided the Nagas for 14 years with scams and the recent political imbroglio on leadership issue, purely for the quench of power among them. Expressing upon the significance of the theme “youth for change” he added, change was needed for development.  He said that in order to build a free corruption society one must put an end the chaotic drama of the NPF led DAN government. He encouraged the youth that Congress was the only political party to sweep out the NPF and make Nagaland like any other advanced states or nations.
Roselina, MLA (Assam) and in-charge of Nagaland youth paid her maiden visit to Mon district, wherein she expressed shock at the deplorable condition of the road which was the only life line of the district. She opined that if such negligence of the government was prevailing, NPYC youths should initiate to submit representation stating all grievances to the prime minister since the ministers or MLAs are busy with corruption, scams and leadership issue.
This wheel tour programme was graced by all the PCC members, DCC, DMCC, ACCCs, NSUI, AYC officials.  Programme was chaired by Wanglam president DYC, invocation by Limei president DMCC. A warm welcome speech was delivered by Y. Chingwang president DCC, where he heartily welcomed all the dignitaries headed by Roselina Tuikey and also gave an agenda on how NPYC should initiate and implement for the forth coming assembly election in the state.  Lima general secretary (Admn) NPYC gave a brief introduction on its mission initiated by the NPYC. Programme concluded with a mass prayer.
