ANFATA appeals option for drawing teachers

All Nagaland Fine Art teachers Association (ANFATA) has appealed the state government to provide option to the drawing teachers in the state as the government order stated that untrained drawing teachers would be issued voluntary pension with effect from March 30, 2019, whereas only 54% drawing teachers in the state are trained as state has no training institute but to go to Imphal for a one year and three months.
The association in a press note by president, V. Hetoi Swu also reminded the concern authority in regard to enhancement of pay scale which was submitted to the office on December 5, 2014. The association appealed the concern authority to look into the matter and take necessary action at the earliest.
ANFATA also urged the concern authority to provide text book/guidelines book for the drawing teachers as well as students and the facilities like pencil, cursive writing, painting equipments tools etc. 
The association said with more attention and providing the necessary requirement for the drawing teacher as well students would promote the talent of the students and provide employment.
